As part of the KASKAD Software Users Club, the NRC Kurchatov Institute, together with TVEL JSC, is holding the 11th International KASKAD Software Users Club Conference, which will be held from May 28 to 30, 2025 in Moscow, Russia. We will be glad to invite you or a representative(s) of your organization to participate in the conference.

The conference is aimed at organizations working in the field of computer calculations of VVER-type reactors and maintenance of their operation and who are users of the KASKAD package and the “Hortiza-M” software or plan to become their users.

The conference topics cover a wide range of issues:

‒ development and use of the KASKAD software package;

‒ methods and tools for the physical calculation of the characteristics of VVER reactor cores;

‒ various aspects of monitoring the parameters of the core and the use of the “Hortiza-M” software;

‒ the use of advanced fuel cycles and new types of fuels;

‒ safety analyses of VVER reactors.

Participants are invited to make a 5-10-minute presentation on the experience of using the KASKAD software package or the “Hortiza-M” software at the enterprise, proposals for the development of codes, as well as other issues related to VVER physics.

In accordance with the requirements of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, foreign participants must fill out a visa application form (the application form is attached). Applications are accepted until March 17, 2025 (inclusive).

The official language of the conference is Russian, but it will be allowed to use English if it is necessary.
